Jagrati Marble & Tiles

We have been running Jagrati Marble & Tiles here in Karond for a good while now. You can find us easily if you know where the Shiv Mandir is on 80 Feet Road. We are tucked right behind Madan Maharaj College. Most days are pretty busy with trucks coming in and out to drop off tiles and heavy marble slabs. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around the yard. We aren't a big fancy showroom, just a straightforward place where you can see the stones for what they are. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, especially in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is around here. We spend a lot of time talking to local folks from the neighborhood who are fixing up their homes. It’s nice to see projects coming together. My brother and I usually handle everything ourselves, from checking the stock to helping load the smaller orders into rickshaws. We don’t really do anything flashy. It's just about having the materials ready when people need them. The college nearby makes the area quite lively during the day, though things quiet down once the sun sets. We try to keep the yard organized, but with so many different types of tiles and stone sizes, it can get a bit cluttered. It’s just us doing our daily work, keeping the shop open, and making sure the inventory is right for whoever walks in.
