Kajal Herbal Beauty Parlour And Training Institute

This place is tucked away in Sahkari Parisar in the Kalpana Nagar area of Bhopal. It’s both a parlour and a place where we teach others how to do beauty work. I’ve always liked using herbal stuff because that’s what I learned growing up. We have a few rooms here for different things. Some are for customers who want a haircut or a herbal pack, and others are for the students who are learning the trade. It can get a bit loud when the students are practicing, but it’s a good kind of busy. People from around Kalpana Nagar know us well. We aren't trying to be like those big malls. It’s more of a community thing here. I spend a lot of time showing the trainees how to hold the thread or mix the pastes. It takes a lot of patience. Sometimes we run out of space for all the bags and stuff, but we make it work. The building itself is a standard one, nothing too modern. We open early so the ladies can come before their household chores start. It’s a lot of work running a training center and a parlour at the same time, but it keeps us on our toes. We use a lot of natural ingredients because people around here prefer that. It smells like herbs and oils most of the day. The door sticks a little in the monsoon season. We also have a small cupboard where we keep student files and old magazines for waiting.
