JUGUL KISHORI WHITE STONE PRIVATELIMITED

Our shop is number six in the Vidhan Complex on Sarla Nagar Road in Maihar. It is a small place but it stays busy with people coming in and out. Since we are right on the road, we get a lot of dust from the passing trucks. We have samples of white stone sitting around the floor so people can see what they are buying. Most of the day I just sit behind the counter and wait for customers or talk to the suppliers on the phone. It is a simple life in a small town. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. Sometimes we have a coffee and talk about the weather or the price of fuel. There is nothing fancy about Shop No-6. We have a ceiling fan that squeaks and a calendar on the wall. We help people figure out how much stone they need for their projects. It is just about being helpful and honest with whoever walks through the door. The stone business in Maihar is tough but we like it. We close up when the sun goes down and start all over again the next morning. It is not glamorous but it pays the bills and keeps us connected to the neighborhood.
