J B Bakers

If you head over to 45, Zone I in Mp Nagar, you’ll find J B Bakers. We are right in the thick of things in this part of town. It’s a busy area and we’ve been here long enough that most of the regulars know us by name. We start early in the morning, usually while it's still dark out, to get the ovens heated up and the first loaves started. The shop isn't huge, but we make use of every inch of space we have. Some days the flour gets everywhere, and we’re constantly wiping down the counters. We aren't trying to be one of those high-end cafes with the tiny portions and the expensive prices. We just make bread, biscuits, and some cakes that people can actually afford for their families. The oven at the back has its moods, and sometimes we have to wait a bit for it to reach the right temperature, but we manage. People stop in on their way to work or when they’re heading home in the evening. Mp Nagar is always moving, so there is usually someone coming through the door. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us baking and selling what we make. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the afternoon, but we try to keep the shelves stocked as much as we can. It’s just a normal local bakery doing its thing.
