Geeta Marbles

Geeta Marbles is located right on Neem Road, near Jinsi Chourha in Jahangirabad. It is a place where we keep a lot of different stones for houses and shops. Being near the crossroads means we see a lot of people passing by every day. The yard is usually full of slabs leaning against each other. We have got some locals who come in looking for something for a small repair, and then we have others planning out a whole house. It is not always quiet here, with the traffic outside and the noise of stones being moved. We do our best to keep things organized, but in a marble yard, there is always some grit on the floor. We don't use big advertisements or anything like that. People just find us by word of mouth or by driving past the Chourha. The selection changes depending on what we can get in from the suppliers. Sometimes we have a lot of one type of marble and not much of another. It depends on the month and what is available. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in because we do not want to sell something that isn't right. It is a basic business, keeping us busy from morning to evening. Just a local shop trying to provide what the neighborhood needs for their building projects without making things more complicated than they need to be.
