We are set up right near the Hanumaan Mandir in Siwani. The railway phatak is just a few steps away, so we hear the trains coming through all the time. It is a small town vibe here in the Bhiwani district. We also send things over to Yamunanagar when people ask, but our main base is right here by the temple. It’s a simple building. Nothing too special to look at from the street, but we keep it clean. Being near the mandir means we get a lot of people who are visiting for prayers. The railway gate stays closed quite a bit, so people often stop in while they wait for the tracks to clear. We are just a local group of people trying to run a decent kitchen. It isn't a corporate chain with manuals and uniforms. We just wear what we have and get to work every morning. Some days are slow, especially when the weather is bad, but usually, there is someone coming through. We handle everything ourselves, from the cleaning to the cooking and taking orders. It gets a bit hectic when a big group comes off the train or from the temple at the same time. We just do our best to keep everyone happy and moving. It’s just how things go in a place like Siwani. We are just glad to be part of the local scene here and keep the stove going every day.
