Bohra Steel

Bohra Steel is located where Sarafa Bazar and Sadar Bazar meet. It’s a very old part of the city, and the streets are quite narrow. You can hear the sounds of the market from early morning until late at night. We’ve been dealing in steel items for a long time. It’s a family thing, passed down to me. The shop is full of stainless steel pots, pans, and all sorts of kitchenware. It’s a heavy, noisy business because everything clanks together when you move it. The shop stays relatively cool because of all the metal inside, which is nice during the summer months. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. Everything is just stacked up in piles, and we know exactly where the different sizes are. People in Sadar Bazar know us as a place where they can get something durable. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we sell. A good steel plate is a good steel plate, and that’s what we offer. The morning starts with us moving some of the larger items out to the front so people can see them as they walk by. It’s a traditional way of doing business in a traditional market. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but our shop remains much the same as it’s always been. It’s a steady life for us here in Sarafa Bazar.
