Balaji Steel & Tubes Ltd.

Our company, Balaji Steel & Tubes Ltd., is found at Karsara No.217 in Village-Dyara, which is part of Teshil-Ladpura. Being located in a village means we aren't surrounded by skyscrapers or city noise. Instead, we have the open space of Dyara, though our mill itself is quite busy and noisy. We spend our days working with steel and making various types of tubes. It is heavy, physical work that leaves you pretty tired by the time evening rolls around. The air in the facility is often thick with the smell of hot metal. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls; we just have a schedule to keep and tubes to manufacture. Most of the people working here are from the local Ladpura area, so we all know each other quite well. Sometimes the machinery is stubborn and we have to spend hours getting it back in order, but that’s just part of the life in a steel mill. The road to the village can be a bit dusty in the summer and muddy when it rains, but we are used to it by now. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We are just a local steel business doing our work out in the countryside. We like the pace of life here, even if the work itself is quite demanding and dirty at times.
