Vardhman Steel Industries

Vardhman Steel Industries is located in the Riico Industrial Area, specifically the Riico Extension at G 30. It’s a busy place with a lot of other factories around. We moved into this extension to have more space for the steel work. The roads are wide enough for the trucks, which is a relief. Every day is pretty much the same. We start early, get the machines warmed up, and start processing the steel. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, but we are used to it by now. There’s no fancy marketing department here. We just have the shop floor and a small desk for the accounts. Most of our visitors are truck drivers or guys from other units in Riico. We keep things simple. We don't go for those big corporate slogans. We just focus on the quality of the steel we are putting out. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait around, but that’s just part of working in an industrial zone. We’ve got a good group of workers who have been with us for years. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a practical business for practical people. If you come by G 30, you'll see us there, just working. We don't make it more complicated than it needs to be.
