Bharat Goom

We have been at Bhopalganj Sham Ki Sabji Mandi for quite a while now. It gets really busy here in the evenings when everyone comes for their vegetables. Bharat Goom is just a small place among all the stalls and noise. Honestly, it is loud most of the time. You can hear people bargaining for tomatoes and potatoes right outside our door. We opened up here because it is where everyone in the neighborhood passes through eventually. Sometimes the dust from the market gets inside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the counters. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a shop where we handle what we need to do. Most of our days are spent talking to people who are just heading home with their groceries. If the lights are on, we are usually inside working. We know the other vendors around here pretty well by now. The tea seller next door comes by twice a day. It is just how life goes in this part of Bhopalganj. We do not have a big sign or anything flashy, but people find us easily enough because of the landmark. There is always something happening on the street, especially when the vegetable trucks arrive in the morning. It keeps us on our toes. We just try to keep things simple and get the work done before it is time to close up and go home ourselves. It is a regular life.
