Hotel Jaisalgarh

Hotel Jaisalgarh is sitting over in Sector-2 of Bhilai. We are at Block Number-9/A on Street-5. If you know the layout of Bhilai, you know the sectors are all organized in a specific way. Our hotel isn't one of those glass towers you see in the big metros like Mumbai or Delhi. It’s a more traditional building that fits right into the neighborhood here. We get a lot of people coming through for work at the steel plant or visiting relatives in the area. The rooms are basic and we try to keep them clean and comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. It gets very hot here in Chhattisgarh during the summer months, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans and coolers are working right. We have a small kitchen where we make tea and simple meals for the guests who stay with us. It’s a family-run kind of feeling here. You might see us sitting out front in the evenings when the air cools down a bit. We don't have a fancy lobby with marble floors or statues. It’s more about being a reliable place where someone can stay for a few days without spending too much money. We’ve seen a lot of guests come and go over the years. Some of them come back every time they are in Bhilai. That makes us feel like we are doing okay. We just keep going.
