Gurukul Vividhlaxi High School

Gurukul Vividhlaxi High School on Old Palitana Road. Sihor is a small place in the Bhavnagar district. The road leads out toward the hills and away from the center. We are a bit away from the main town, so it feels a little quieter here. The school has a bit of space around it. You can see the trees and the open ground from the windows. The buildings are old-fashioned and sturdy. We have high ceilings which really help when it gets hot in the middle of a Gujarat summer. The students here are from all over Sihor and the small settlements nearby. It’s a high school, so there’s always a lot of energy and noise in the corridors. We have those long wooden benches where three or four kids sit together. The teachers have their own desks at the front, usually covered in stacks of notebooks and a stray water bottle or two. We have a lot of stairs to climb every day to get to the upper rooms. The main office is on the ground floor. It’s where all the parents come to pay the fees or ask about the holiday schedule. We still use a physical bell that someone has to hit with a hammer. You can hear it ringing all the way down the road. During the break, the kids run around and kick balls or just talk. We mostly stay inside the staff room and try to get some of our marking done. It’s a busy life, but it’s familiar to all of us. The address is 364240 and it hasn't changed.
