The building is simple and functional. We don't have any corporate polish or fancy slogans on the walls. It’s just a place for learning. The students come from all over the Sihor area. Some walk, some come on cycles. You can see the cycles parked in a row near the entrance every morning. We have the usual subjects and the usual exams. The staff here are just local folks who know their business. We don't have a big budget for fancy things, so we make do with what we have. The blackboards are a bit grey from years of use. Bhavnagar can get quite hot, so we rely on the old ceiling fans to keep the air moving in the rooms. It’s a very grounded place. We don’t try to impress anyone with big talk. We just want the kids to finish their high school and do okay for themselves. There’s a lot of history in these walls, even if it’s just the history of everyday life.
