Shaswat Public School

Out on Sidsar Road in Bhavnagar, you will find Shaswat Public School. It is a place that stays pretty busy because the road itself is a main one, so there is always the sound of horns and trucks passing by. We have a solid gate and a small guard hut at the front to keep things orderly. The school building is a couple of floors high, and we spend a lot of time walking up and down those concrete stairs. The classrooms are painted a light color, though they get dusty pretty fast with all the wind we get around here in the 364001 area. We have a small yard where the students gather in the morning for their lines and announcements. It is usually a bit loud until the teachers come out. We do not go in for anything too fancy or polished. The desks are the standard wooden kind, and some of them have names carved into the wood from students who were here years ago. We have a few trees planted along the fence line that provide a little bit of shade during the hottest parts of the day. In the office, there are stacks of registers and files everywhere because we still do a lot of things on paper. It is just a normal school where people from around Bhavnagar send their children. We keep the fans running and try to make sure everyone stays focused on their books.
