Bs Mysore Dhosa

We are over at Shop No 5 in Himalaya Mall. It is a busy spot here in Bhavnagar, especially since we are quite close to Victoria Park and Iscon Mega City. Most of our days go by watching people walk through the mall corridors. We started this place because we knew how to make a decent Mysore dhosa and wanted a small corner to do that. The kitchen is small but we keep it organized. Every morning starts with grinding the rice and lentils. It takes time to get the batter just right so the dhosas come out crisp. We don't have a big team, just a few of us working the tawa and serving the tables. It gets a bit hectic on Sunday evenings when families come out after spending time at the park. We just focus on keeping the chutney fresh and the sambar hot. Sometimes the mall air conditioning is too cold and other times it is just right. We have been here for a bit now and have seen many shops come and go. People usually find us when they are tired of shopping and need something filling. It is not a fancy place with soft music or anything. You just come in, eat your food, and go about your day. We try to keep the spices the way people around here like them. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the mall closes up for the night.
