We've been at Plot No-L-96 in the Gidc Estate for a while now. It’s on the first floor, just by the Telephone Exchange. You know how those industrial areas get, always something moving or some noise from the street. Our space isn't fancy, just a few desks and a lot of wires. Being at Span Technologies means we’re usually busy with some technical issue or another. Some days the stairs feel steeper than others when carrying gear up. It gets warm in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep things moving. We usually grab lunch from the stalls nearby. It's a regular spot. People drop by without calling sometimes, which is fine, though it gets a bit crowded in the small office. We just keep our heads down and handle the work that comes in. Most of the guys here live pretty close by, so the commute isn't too bad unless there's a big truck blocking the road near the exchange. We’ve got a small kettle for tea, and that’s usually running all morning. It’s a practical setup. Nothing much to look at, just a place where we get the job done. Sometimes we stay late when a project is being stubborn. It’s just how things go here at the estate. We don't have a big sign out front, just the number on the door. It works for us.
