Valia is where our school is located, right in the Bharuch district. People usually just call it by the shorter name since the full one is quite long. We are tucked into a spot in the 393135 area. The school has a very simple layout with classrooms arranged around a central open area. Most of the kids who come here are from local families who have lived in Valia for a long time. It’s a very grounded place where we stick to the traditional ways of teaching. You won't find many fancy computers here, but we have plenty of books and a lot of dedicated space for writing. The mornings are usually the busiest time when the buses arrive and everyone rushes to their desks. We have a small garden area that some of the older students help look after. During the monsoon, things can get a bit damp, but we manage to keep the classes going without many interruptions. The teachers are mostly local people who understand the rhythm of life in Bharuch. We don't make big promises or use complicated words to describe what we do. It is just a school where children come to learn their lessons and spend time with their friends. Everything is very straightforward, from the way we handle the schedule to how we organize the year-end functions. It’s just a part of the daily life here.
