Maharajshri K G M Vidyalaya

Maharajshri K G M Vidyalaya is found in Zadeshwar, which is right on the edge of Bharuch. It is a growing area, but our school stays pretty much the same year after year. We have a decent-sized building where we hold our classes. It is not a place with air conditioning or fancy labs, but it serves the community well. The students come from the local streets and some from the newer apartment blocks nearby. We have a group of teachers who really care about what they are doing, even if they don't say it in a sentimental way. We just get on with the job. You will usually find us in the staff room during breaks, drinking tea and talking about the day's lessons. The playground is a bit uneven, but the kids don't seem to mind when they are playing cricket or chasing each other. We handle the admissions and the fees in a small office near the entrance. It can get a bit crowded during the start of the term. We don't use any slick marketing talk. We are just a local school. If you live in Zadeshwar, you probably walk past us every day. We are part of the scenery here. We focus on giving the kids a place to study and grow up. It is honest work, and we are happy to be doing it right here in Bharuch. We just keep our heads down and do the daily tasks.
