If you ever find yourself near the GIDC Bus Station in Ankleshwar, you’ve probably walked right past Ravi Complex. Our spot is S-12, and honestly, it’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes. Shree Shrine Engi. And Marketing Co. Pvt. Limited has been based here for quite a while. The bus station across the road is always loud, and you can hear the conductors shouting destinations all through the day. Inside our office, things are a bit quieter, mostly filled with the sound of drawers opening and closing or someone typing up a quote on an old keyboard. We handle a lot of engineering components and marketing stuff, which means the shelves are packed with catalogs and some metal samples we’ve kept for years. It’s not a high-tech showroom. It’s a place where we sit down with customers, offer them a chair that might squeak a little, and talk about what parts they need for their factory. The walls are covered with some old calendars and a few technical charts that have started to yellow at the edges. Being in the GIDC area means we are right in the middle of all the industrial action. We see the same faces every day, from the tea seller to the guys working in the bigger plants down the road. It’s a practical workspace for practical people who just want to get their orders sorted. We just focus on the lists and the parts people ask for.
