Shubham Engineering

Our workshop, Shubham Engineering, is located at A/59 in the Mangalam Housing Society area along Nandelav Road. It’s a bit of an interesting spot because we are right there near where people live, so we have to be careful about not making too much noise too late in the evening. Most of the time, you’ll find us hunched over a piece of equipment or welding something in the back. We started small and honestly, we’ve stayed pretty small because it’s easier to manage things that way. There is always a pile of scrap metal in one corner and tools scattered across the workbenches. I try to keep it organized, but by Tuesday afternoon, everything is usually a mess again. We do a lot of basic engineering tasks—cutting, grinding, and fixing parts that have worn out. It’s practical stuff. We don’t have a website or any fancy brochures. People mostly just hear about us from someone else or see the sign when they are driving down Nandelav Road. The weather affects us a lot; when it rains heavily, the sound on the tin roof makes it hard to hear anything else. We just take the work as it comes and try to do a decent job so we can go home at the end of the day without too many complaints. It’s a simple life here at the housing society plot.
