Shree Shimandhar Industries

Shree Shimandhar Industries is situated at Plot No 15 in the GIDC area on Nagore Road. We are right near the railway crossing, so we hear the trains go by several times a day. It’s an industrial spot, so there is always a bit of dust and the sound of machinery in the air. We do manufacturing here, which means we spend a lot of time on the factory floor. It’s not a place for someone who wants to stay clean all day. We wear our work clothes and get stuck into the daily tasks of production. The sun can beat down pretty hard on the roof, making it hot inside during the summer months. We have some heavy equipment that needs regular maintenance, and sometimes things break down at the worst possible time. That’s just part of running a factory, though. We have a solid crew of guys who have been with us for a long time. We don’t have a big HR department or a fancy canteen. We just eat our lunch together and get back to work. The goals are simple: make the products, check they are alright, and get them loaded onto the trucks. It’s a straightforward way of life without any fluff. We don’t spend much on decorating the place because we’d rather spend that on keeping the machines running. We keep a logbook for the trucks coming in and out, and it’s getting pretty thick with all the entries from over the past year.
