You can find us at Plot No. 1019-21. It’s a big site where we do a lot of forging work. If you come by, you’ll hear the heavy thud of the hammers and the hiss of the heat. It’s hot work, there’s no way around that. We spend our days working with metal, shaping it into what it needs to be. The floors are hard and the air is warm, but we’ve got a rhythm down. It’s not a place for someone who minds getting their hands dirty or working up a sweat. We don't have many decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few safety posters that have seen better days. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. Most of the space is taken up by the furnaces and the equipment. We talk about the weather or the local cricket scores while we work. It’s a tight-knit group because you have to look out for each other in a place like this. Sometimes we have a backlog and things get stressful, but we just put our heads down and get through it. It’s honest, physical labor, and we’re okay with that. It’s just what we do here at the forge. We’ve been at this plot for a while and the neighbors know us by the noise. It’s just part of the local scenery now, for better or worse. We just keep the fires going and get the metal ready.
