Raiyani Technofab/Preci-Max Engineers

You can find us at 135/1 in the Gidc Narmadnagar area. It’s a big industrial zone, so there are always trucks moving around and people in jumpsuits walking to lunch. Raiyani Technofab and Preci-Max Engineers both run out of this same spot. It’s a large shed with high ceilings, which is good because it gets quite hot during the summer months. We have all our machines lined up, and there’s usually a bit of grease on the floor no matter how much we sweep. It’s a noisy place to spend the day, but you get used to the sound of the metal and the humming of the engines. We don't have a fancy office upstairs, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the invoices and the phone. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor. We’ve been in Narmadnagar for a long time, and we’ve seen shops come and go. We just keep doing what we’ve always done. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we all go around eleven. It’s a good chance to get some air. We aren't a corporate setup with a bunch of managers. It’s just a few of us who know how to work the machines and get the parts made. We stay until the job is finished, even if it means staying a bit late under the yellow lights.
