Shah Engg Co

Down on Zadeshwar Road in Bharuch, you can find Shah Engg Co in the Suryadarshan Society. We’re in F4 of the Abhishek Apartment building. It’s a pretty standard residential-style office, which works out well for us. We do a lot of engineering work that requires a bit of peace and quiet to focus. Bharuch is a busy town, especially with all the industrial stuff going on nearby, so we stay pretty active. Most of our day is spent over blueprints or calculating things on the computer. It’s not the most exciting thing to look at from the outside, but it keeps the lights on. We’ve got some good neighbors in the society and it’s a convenient spot for getting around town. The office is a bit cluttered with technical drawings and some old equipment, but we know where everything is. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with coffee. Usually, we just meet people right at the main table. It’s a small operation, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to checking the final specs on a project. We like the independence of having our own small firm. It means we can take the time to do things the way we think is right. Sometimes the days are long, but that’s engineering for you. It’s about being precise and getting the details handled without making a big fuss or overcomplicating things.
