Het Engineering

Het Engineering is located right across from the railway station in Bajwa. It is a handy spot because of the trains, though the noise is something you just get used to after a week or two. We spend most of our time out on the floor dealing with the metalwork and the machinery. It isn’t the cleanest job in the world. You usually go home with grease on your hands or dust on your clothes. That is just the way it works here in Bajwa. We keep the doors open most days to let some air in, especially when it gets hot in the afternoons. People pass by on their way to the station all the time. Sometimes they peek in to see what we are making. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If someone comes by, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see what they need. It is a small setup, just the essentials for the engineering tasks we take on. We’ve been at this location for a bit. The building isn't brand new, but it holds everything we need to get the daily tasks finished. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us because they live nearby or use the station. It’s a simple life. We focus on the jobs at hand and try to stay busy. Sometimes the trains rattle the windows, but we don't mind much.
