Kemy Overseas

Kemy Overseas is out at A-2, Bholav Udhyognagar. Being in an industrial estate like Bholav Udhyognagar means there is always a lot of heavy lifting and the sound of machinery in the background. It isn't the quietest place to spend a day, but it’s where the real work happens. Our unit, A-2, is basically a large shed with some office space partitioned off in the front part of the building. We deal with overseas stuff, so there are always wooden crates being packed or unpacked near the loading dock. The air smells like grease and cardboard most of the time. It’s a practical setup. We don't have fancy carpets or art on the walls because they would just get dirty with all the dust coming in. The staff here mostly wears work clothes, and we’re all used to getting our hands a bit messy during the day. The sun beats down on the metal roof during the day, making it pretty loud when it rains hard. We’ve been based here for a good while, and we know all the truck drivers who come through the gates. There’s no point in pretending we are a polished corporate office. We are a warehouse and an export outfit at heart. We just make sure the pallets are loaded and the paperwork is signed before the trucks head out. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from Monday morning to Saturday evening.
