About Annapurna Flour Mill
– Industrial Plant & Machines in Bharuch
Annapurna Flour Mill is back in the Padmavati Complex, right behind the Gangasager Apartments on Haturan Road. This is the Tarsadi part of Kosamba. It’s a bit tucked away, so you have to know where you’re going to find us. We mostly serve the families living in the nearby apartments. It’s a convenient spot for them to drop off their grain while they go about their day. The shop isn't big. It’s mostly taken up by the grinding machines and the space for the sacks. The smell of fresh flour is always heavy in the air. It’s a good smell, actually. It reminds you of home. We spend our days lifting, weighing, and watching the grain turn into powder. The machines need a lot of attention so they don't overheat. Kosamba can get pretty hot in the summer, and it gets even hotter inside the mill with the motors running. We don't have air conditioning, just a small fan that doesn't do much besides blow the flour dust around. People come in, we talk about the local news for a minute, and then they go. It’s a very local kind of place. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s just a neighborhood mill doing what we’ve always done. We keep things simple and focus on getting the flour back to the customers on time so they can go home and cook.
