Hemani Industries Ltd.

People usually find it a bit hard to get to our spot at Ch 5 in the GIDC Industrial Estate, mostly because Dahej is such a sprawling place with trucks everywhere. Hemani Industries Ltd. has been operating out of this unit for quite some time now. It’s not one of those shiny new offices you see in the city; it’s a working industrial site where things actually get made. The sun hits the roof pretty hard in the afternoons, so it gets quite warm inside the plant, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving while the guys work on the production lines. Most of us have been here for years, so we know the sounds of the machines by heart. If something sounds off, someone usually notices it before the gauges even show a problem. We don’t really do big meetings or anything like that. Usually, we just talk over tea in the break area about what needs to be shipped out by the end of the day. The road outside is always dusty from all the construction and the transport vehicles passing by constantly, which is just part of being in an industrial zone like this one. We just focus on keeping the machines running and making sure the orders are ready when the trucks pull up to the gate. It’s honest work, and we just keep at it day after day without much fuss or bother.
