We’ve been operating out of Plot No. 412 for quite some time now. Acmechem is just a small outfit in the grand scheme of things. Our daily routine is pretty much the same every morning. We unlock the main gate, check the inventory, and see what the plan is for the day. There is a lot of pouring and measuring involved. We have to be careful with the chemicals, so we wear our gloves and boots even when it’s boiling hot outside. The ventilation could be better, but the big exhaust fans do their job. We aren't really into the whole corporate lifestyle. Most of us here have known each other for a long time. We talk about our families while we work. The space is filled with drums and glass jars of all sizes. Sometimes the smell of the solutions is quite strong, so we try to keep the back doors open. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have any decorative plants or nice carpets. The floor is concrete and easy to wash down. When the weekend comes, we’re all pretty tired, but it’s a good kind of tired. We just focus on getting the chemical mixes right and making sure they get to where they need to go. It’s a steady pace, and we don't try to make it seem more complicated than it is. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders.
