Ashapuri Engg & Co.

Ashapuri Engg & Co. is situated in G.I.D.C., specifically at Shop No.G-8 in the Arunoday Complex. We are right by the Little Hut Crossing, which is a bit of a landmark for people around here. The complex is older, but it’s a solid place to work. We have our workshop set up to handle various engineering tasks. It’s a lot of grease, metal shavings, and the smell of machines. That might not sound appealing to some, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or expensive furniture. Our investment goes into our tools and our hands. Most of us here started out as apprentices or just helpers and worked our way up. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall; we just have a calendar and a list of things that need to be finished. The G.I.D.C. area is a tough place to work sometimes, with the heat and the constant hum of industry, but we like it. We’ve got a good relationship with the other shops in the Arunoday Complex. We borrow tools, share tea, and help each other out when a heavy load comes in. It’s a community of workers. We just want to do our job well and go home at the end of the day knowing we didn't cut any corners. It's basic work, but it keeps the lights on.
