Shree Balaji Betul Farmer Producercompany Limited is located right on Mandi Road at Badora Chowk in Betul. We share a space with Sanjay Sharad Verma, and being near the Mandi makes a lot of sense for what we do. Since we are right there where all the trade happens, we can see exactly what is going on with the prices every day. We are not a big company with a fancy logo or a lobby. We are just a group that wanted to make sure the farmers in Betul were not getting the short end of the stick. Working near the chowk means it is always noisy and there are always trucks moving around. We spend a lot of time talking to the drivers and the traders. It is not a clean job and we do not pretend it is. We help get the grain sorted and try to find the best way to move the produce. There is no big strategy here, just everyday decisions about which truck to hire or when to sell the wheat. We keep things simple because farming is complicated enough as it is. If you come by Mandi Road, you can see us working. We do not have a receptionist; you just walk in and talk to whoever is there. We are just trying to make sure our families and our neighbors can keep farming for a long time.
