Savasni Agro Producer Company Limited

Out here on College Road in Athner, things stay pretty steady most of the time. Our company, Savasni Agro Producer Company Limited, runs out of Aakash Jagdish Rathore’s place. It’s a good spot because people pass by all the time, being near the college and all that. We’ve lived in Betul our whole lives, so we know the soil and we know what grows well and what doesn’t. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We just have a few desks and a lot of mud on the floor most days from people coming in from the farms. We started this because we wanted to have a bit more control over where our produce goes once it leaves the gate. Usually, you’re just at the mercy of whoever shows up with a truck, but we’re trying to change that bit by bit. It’s a lot of talking, a lot of phone calls, and a lot of sitting around waiting for things to happen. We aren’t some big city operation with a marketing department. If you call us, you’re just going to get one of us on the line, probably while we’re busy doing something else in the back. We just want to keep things simple and honest. Farming is hard enough without making it more complicated than it needs to be. We just show up every day, do the work, and hope for the best for the season. That’s pretty much the whole story of how we do things here in Athner.
