Zaica Dine & Wine

Zaica Dine & Wine sits in the HAL 2nd Stage area, specifically in the Kamdhenu Estate at number 2010. It’s an interesting part of town because you have all these offices nearby but also some older houses. The building itself is part of a larger estate, so there is always some kind of maintenance going on nearby. We have been here for a few years and the routine hasn't changed much. We start the day by checking the stock and seeing what needs to be ordered for the weekend. The tables are basic wood and we spend a lot of time polishing the glasses because they get dusty so fast. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see fancy decorations or expensive art. We just have some simple lights and some chairs that are comfortable enough for a quick meal. The kitchen can get pretty chaotic when the evening rush starts. You can hear the chefs shouting orders and the clinking of plates from the dining area. We have a couple of guys who have been working with us since the day we opened. They know where everything is kept, which helps when things get frantic. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just provide a place for people in the estate to sit down for a bit after their shift is over. It’s a lot of work.
