Our yard is located at 20 H Siddaiah Road, quite close to the Kannkapura Main area. If you’ve ever driven down this road, you’ve probably seen the stacks of cement items we keep out front. We deal with things like concrete blocks, pipes, and other heavy stuff people need for building. It is a very dusty job and we are usually covered in grey powder by noon. There is no air conditioning here, just the open space where we mix things and let them dry in the sun. We’ve been in this spot for years and have seen plenty of buildings go up around us using the materials we make right here. It’s hard physical work, moving heavy slabs and loading them onto trucks that come by. The traffic on H Siddaiah Road can be a real mess, so getting deliveries out sometimes takes longer than we want. We aren't trying to be a big corporate supplier. We’re just a local family business where my sons and I handle most of the work ourselves. We talk to the contractors and the local guys who are just fixing up their own small houses. It’s noisy and messy, but it’s honest work that needs to be done. We just keep making the blocks and waiting for the next truck to pull in. Every day is pretty much the same routine of lifting, stacking, and keeping the yard organized.
