Deepstar Exports

Our place is located out on Doddaballapur Road in Yelahanka. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the center of the city, but it works for what we do. We handle exports, mostly dealing with shipping out goods to different places. The warehouse is a decent size and we spend most of our days there checking on crates and making sure things are labeled right. It gets pretty loud with the trucks moving in and out all the time. I remember when we first moved into this space, it felt too big, but now we've filled up almost every corner with something or other. The staff is just a handful of us who’ve been together for a few years. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the drivers to arrive. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit muddy, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be some massive international corporation with shiny glass windows. It’s just a practical setup for moving products from point A to point B. We keep a ledger on the old wooden table and mark things off as they go. It is nothing too complicated. Yelahanka has changed a lot since we started, but our routine stays mostly the same. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s a long day sometimes, but that’s just how it goes in the export trade. We close up around six most days unless a container is late arriving.
