Yash Hair Make U P Studio

Yash Hair Make U P Studio is based on Parviz Road, number 28, in Kumara Park West. It’s a bit of a quieter area compared to the main roads, which I like. We aren't a big factory of a salon. It’s more of a studio setup where we focus on hair and makeup. When I get here in the morning, the first thing I do is check the lighting because you need good light for makeup work. We have a bunch of brushes and palettes scattered around usually. It’s a bit messy when we’re in the middle of a big job, but we always clean it up eventually. We do a lot of bridal stuff and just regular hair styling for parties. It’s not always glamorous. There’s a lot of standing and holding heavy hair dryers for a long time. My arms get tired by the evening. The neighbors are nice, mostly just other small businesses and some houses. We’ve got a small window that lets in some sunlight, which is nice in the winter. We don't have a receptionist, so we usually just answer the phone ourselves when we aren't busy with a client. It’s a simple operation. We just like doing hair and seeing how people look when we’re finished. That’s about it for us at the studio. It is just a place where we do our work and go home.
