Ya Habibi Foodtruck

Our base is at No.80 on the 1st Floor, right by Labbay Masjid on Commercial Street. This is in the Shivaji Nagar area of Bangalore. Even though we run Ya Habibi Foodtruck, we have this small office and kitchen space to handle the prep work and the books. Commercial Street is always packed with people and traffic, so there's never a quiet moment outside. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen area getting everything ready before the truck actually heads out to its spot. It’s cramped sometimes, especially when we have a big order to prepare for a local event. The stairs up to the first floor are very narrow and steep. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The team is mostly family and a few friends from the neighborhood. We don't have a fancy website or any marketing people. We just focus on the food and making sure the truck is fueled up and ready to go. Bangalore traffic is a nightmare most days, so timing everything is the hardest part of our routine. We often stay late into the night cleaning up all the pots and equipment. It’s hard work and our hands usually smell like garlic and spices. We don't use any fancy industrial machines, just standard kitchen tools. It’s a real operation, not some polished corporate kitchen. We like the vibe of Shivaji Nagar even if it’s noisy and crowded. We’re just here working and getting the food out on the street.
