Y-Cook India Private Limited

Our facility is out in Village Kolhathur, near Hoskote. It’s quite a way out from the main city, right near MVJ College. We chose this spot because it gives us the space we need for the Y-Cook India Private Limited operations. It’s much quieter out here than in Bangalore, though you still hear the buses going to the college. We have a lot of space for our machines and the staff to work. The building is practical. It’s got high ceilings and lots of light, which is good for the kind of work we do. Most of our employees come from the nearby villages. We don’t have a fancy corporate canteen; we just have a small area where everyone eats their lunch together. Sometimes the internet is a bit spotty because we are a bit far out, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the produce that comes in. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on your feet. We don’t really care about being a big company in the city sense. We just want to make sure the food we process is handled. The road leading to the village can be a bit bumpy, especially after the monsoon, but we’re used to it. It’s a good, honest place to work and we have built a nice community here. It feels right to be away from the city noise and just focus on the task at hand.
