Wipro Technologies

This spot in Bangalore is where we handle things for Wipro Technologies. It’s listed under C/O Neelakantaya, which might seem a bit different if you are used to big glass buildings. We are tucked away here and it is actually quite quiet compared to the main roads. I usually get in around nine and the first thing I do is check if the internet is holding up okay. The space isn’t huge but we have enough room for our desks and the few filing cabinets we keep in the corner. Sometimes it gets a bit warm in the afternoons when the sun hits the side of the building, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People in the neighborhood know us as the office people who are always typing away. We don’t really have any flashy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and a few notes pinned up about upcoming deadlines. It’s a very practical setup. Lunch is usually brought from home in those steel tiffins, and we sit around the main table to eat. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood, like the vegetable vendors or the kids coming home from school. It feels very local and grounded. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to stay organized. It’s a steady pace here, nothing too hectic, but we stay busy enough from Monday to Friday. We also have to be careful about where we park our cycles so we don't block the neighbor's entrance. It's just a regular workplace.
