Mindtree Ltd.

We are based out of the Global Village campus on Mysore Road in Bangalore. Mindtree Ltd. is a large operation, so there are hundreds of us coming through these gates every single morning. If you’ve ever traveled down Mysore Road, you know how the traffic can be, especially during the monsoon season when everything slows to a crawl. The office is a typical IT setup with long rows of cubicles and computers that never seem to get turned off. We spend a lot of time in front of those screens, typing away and jumping from one meeting to another. The campus itself is actually quite nice, with some green patches and places to sit outside for a few minutes when the air conditioning gets too cold. We have a cafeteria that serves the usual rice and sambar, and that’s where most of the gossip and news gets shared between teams. It’s a big building, so you might not know everyone you pass in the hallway, but there’s a general sense of everyone being in the same boat. We deal with a lot of software and digital work, which means our brains are usually pretty tired by the time the sun goes down. Bangalore is a fast-paced city, and working here reflects that. We just try to get our projects done on time, deal with the occasional system crash, and look forward to the weekends like everyone else.
