You can find us over at the JW Marriott on Vittal Mallya Road. It’s right in the middle of Bangalore City. Being inside the hotel means we are part of that whole busy atmosphere near the lobby. The address is No. 24/1. It’s a bit of a walk through the hotel halls to get to us, but once you are here, it’s quiet compared to the noise on the main road outside. We have our setup with the usual salon chairs and mirrors. The floors are polished, and we spend a good amount of time keeping everything neat. It’s not a huge space, but it’s organized. We have different sections for different tasks. The staff comes in at their shifts and gets the equipment ready for whoever walks in. Vittal Mallya Road is always packed with high-end cars and people rushing around, but inside the salon, things move at a slower pace. We use a lot of different bottles and tools every day. It’s mostly about the routine of cutting and styling. We don’t have a lot of wall decorations, just the things we need to work. The lighting is designed to be clear so we can see the details. It feels a bit different being in a hotel rather than a standalone shop on the street. People come in from their rooms or from offices nearby. It’s just how the day goes here. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work.
