Waheed Traders

Our shop, Waheed Traders, is located at 17 S M Road in the Shivaji Nagar area of Bangalore. It’s a very old part of town, right near the famous Russell Market. If you’ve been around here, you know how crowded it gets with the flower sellers and the fruit stalls. The energy is something else. We deal in various goods, mostly things that the local tradesmen and families need. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a solid place where we do our business every day. The traffic on S M Road can be a real headache, especially in the afternoons when everyone is trying to get through the narrow lanes. We have been here for quite some time, so we’ve seen the city grow and change all around us. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with all the bags and boxes. We try to keep things in some kind of order, but it’s a constant battle. We get all kinds of people coming in, from neighbors we’ve known for twenty years to tourists who got lost looking for the market. We treat everyone the same, just trying to be helpful. It’s a noisy, busy, and sometimes dusty life here in Shivaji Nagar, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. There is always a story to hear or something happening just outside the door. We just keep the doors open and see what the day brings every morning.
