Vitctraining

Vitctraining. Our place is on the second floor at Chunchanghatta Cross, right on Kanakapura Main Road. We are in Yelachenahalli, directly in front of the church. It’s a very easy landmark to spot. We mostly do vocational training and computer courses. It’s a small operation, really. We have a few classrooms and some decent computers for the students to use. We aren't one of those massive training centers with hundreds of staff. It’s just a handful of us making sure people learn what they need to learn. Some people come here after work to pick up new skills. Others are younger and looking for their first job. We talk to everyone the same way. The traffic on Kanakapura road can be pretty bad, so we usually hear the horns all day. We’ve got a little area where people can sit and wait, but it’s nothing fancy. We focus more on what’s happening on the screens. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and the local community knows us. We don't spend money on big billboard ads. We just keep our doors open and help whoever walks in. It’s honest work. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon. It’s a relaxed place to learn things. Most of our students live nearby in the neighborhood so they just walk or cycle over when it’s time for class.
