Our place is at Mathikere 1064/32. It’s a modest office in a part of Bangalore that always feels like it’s in a hurry. We spend our days dealing with career stuff, which basically means a lot of talking and looking at papers. We don't have a big, shiny office in a tech park. It’s just a regular room with some chairs and a desk that’s seen a lot of use. People come in looking for help with their job search, and we do what we can to point them in the right direction. It can be a bit stressful because everyone is so anxious about their future. We try to keep things calm and simple. We don't use a lot of fancy career coaching language. We just speak plainly about what’s available and what isn't. Sometimes we have to tell people things they don't want to hear, but that’s just how it goes. The office can get a bit cluttered with folders and notes pinned to the walls. We don't have a cleaning crew, so we just tidy up ourselves when we have a spare moment. Mathikere is a good neighborhood with lots of energy. We’ve been here long enough to know the local bus routes and where to get the best snacks. We aren't a giant recruitment firm. We’re just a few people trying to help others find a path. It’s not always easy, but it is what we do every day.
