Vishveshwaraih Cements

This is our cement shop in Marathahalli, specifically in the Annapoorneshwari Layout. We are at number 309, which is easy enough to find if you know the area. Selling cement is a heavy business, so there's always a lot of dust and bags being moved around. We have trucks coming in and out at odd hours sometimes, which keeps the neighbors on their toes. It’s a straightforward job—people need bags of cement for their houses or small patches, and we sell them. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just a place where we store the stock and keep it dry. The rain can be a problem sometimes, so we spend a lot of time making sure everything is covered up properly. I’ve been running Vishveshwaraih Cements for a while now. My hands are usually a bit gray from the dust by the end of the day. It’s not glamorous work, but someone has to do it. We have a few guys who help with the loading because those bags are really heavy. We try to be honest about what we have in stock and when it will arrive. We aren't trying to build an empire, just making sure we have enough to supply the local builders. If you’re building something in the layout, you’ve probably seen our trucks or walked past the shop. We’re just local people doing a local trade. We open early in the morning.
