Our place is at 446 on the 18th Main Road in Jayanagar. It’s a nice area, a bit quieter than the main markets but still busy enough for us. We work with masalas and food blends here. You can usually smell the spices before you even get to the door. We started out small, just a few grinders and some recipes we knew people in the neighborhood liked. Now it's a bit bigger operation, but we still do things the old way mostly. We spend a lot of time sourcing the raw spices from the markets. If the chillies aren't right, the whole batch is ruined, so we’re quite picky about that. The staff here is like a big family. We have lunch together in the back room most days. It’s not a fancy corporate office, just a place where we make food ingredients. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them ourselves. It’s just part of the job. We don't have a big marketing team or social media. People in Jayanagar just know where we are and come by when they need something fresh for their kitchen. We try to keep our prices fair for everyone. Life is expensive enough as it is these days. We like seeing our packets on the shelves of the local grocery stores nearby. It gives us a bit of pride knowing we made that right here on 18th Main.
