Ssp Asafoetida

People usually smell us before they see us here in the Industrial Town of Rajajinagar. Dealing with asafoetida all day means the scent sticks to your clothes and follows you home after work. We are located at 148 on the 3rd Main Road, right in the thick of things where all the trucks are constantly moving in and out. Most mornings start with checking the new arrivals and making sure the grinding area is ready for the day. It gets loud in here once the machines start up, but that is just how things go. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and the neighbors don't complain much about the smell anymore because they are used to it. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, and we spend a good chunk of time just sweeping and keeping the floor clear so nobody trips. There is nothing fancy about what we do at Ssp Asafoetida. It is just a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the raw resin we get. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small desk near the front where we handle the paperwork. Some days the heat in the industrial area is quite bad, but we keep the fans going and just get through the orders. It’s honest work, and we just try to keep the supply moving out to the markets without making too much of a fuss.
