My place is in Vijaya Nagar, and the best way to find it is to look for the railway gate. I am right opposite to it. When the gate closes, you can hear the bells ringing and then the sound of the train rushing by. It is a bit noisy, but you get used to the rhythm of it after a few days. The traffic piles up right in front of my door while people wait for the train to pass, so there is always something to look at out the window. The office is just one room with a couple of chairs for visitors and my main desk. I have got a small calendar on the wall and a clock that is about five minutes fast, but I never bothered to fix it. Vijaya Nagar is a lively part of town, and there are always a lot of people walking around. I do not have any employees, so it is just me here most of the time. If I need to go out for a coffee or to the bank, I just lock the door and put a little note up. It is a very informal way of doing things, but it works for me. I do not need much space or fancy equipment. As long as I have my ledgers and a working pen, I am good to go. The trains are the main soundtrack to my day, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
