Akshay M Kulkarni

I’ve been working out of Bsk 2nd Stage for quite some time now under my name, Akshay M Kulkarni. My workspace is just a simple room with a decent desk and a lot of books piled up on the side. Banashankari is a nice area, quite residential but with enough shops around to keep it lively. I usually start my day quite early, before the traffic on the main road really kicks in. The neighbors are mostly families, so it’s relatively quiet during the middle of the day. I spend a lot of time sitting at my computer or writing things down in my journal. It’s not a big corporate operation here; it’s just me and sometimes a helper if there’s too much to carry. I’ve got a window that faces a small tree, which is nice when I need a break from looking at the screen. I drink a lot of coffee while I work. Sometimes people come by to drop off documents, and we end up talking about the local news for half an hour. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it works for me. I don’t have a big sign outside or anything like that. Most people know where to find me by word of mouth. It’s just a steady, daily grind in a neighborhood I’ve grown very fond of over the years.
