Our small office is over at B5 in the Yeshwantpur G I DE C Estate, specifically in Phase 3 of the Dduttl Industrial Suburb. It’s a very busy part of the city, and you can always hear the sound of trucks and machinery from the neighboring units. We’ve been operating from this warehouse space for quite some time. Moving people's belongings is a tough job that leaves your muscles aching at the end of every day. We keep a massive stock of old newspapers and rolls of brown tape because you can never have enough when you're wrapping fragile things. The office part is just a partitioned corner with a couple of old wooden desks and a calendar that is usually a month behind. When the sun hits the tin roof in the summer, it gets incredibly hot inside, so we usually have a noisy pedestal fan running all day. My brother handles the phone calls while I stay out with the guys on the trucks. Finding this specific block in the industrial estate can be a bit of a headache for new drivers, so we often have to stand out by the main gate to wave them in. It's a plain, working-class environment with no frills. We don't have fancy brochures or a sales team. It's just us, some heavy blankets for the furniture, and a lot of hard work. Sometimes the traffic in Yeshwantpur makes our schedules go completely wrong, but we just keep moving along regardless.
